Working with the Northwest Lions Foundation, the Olympia Host Lions Club is the biggest spon­sor of the Lions Health Screening Unit, reserving it for 12 days each year.  The health screening unit is a self contained trailer set up to test a variety of health issues. Last December & January, Olympia Host screened nearly 3,900 stu­dents for vision and hearing problems out of a total of just over 30,000 for the year by the LHSU.  In addition to 12 elementary and 3 middle schools for the Olympia School District, we also provide our services to Evergreen Christian, Griffin School, and St. Michael's.
