Estimates are that low vision devices can help two out of three visually impaired individuals. Individual needs may vary from wanting to read or viewing a computer screen or television, to being able to view distant objects.
The Olympia Host Lions Club and donations from the public fund the Lions Low Vision Resource Center. Organizations and individuals in our community have donated the low vision devices in the center. The center loans or gives these aids to our guests. The center can provide our guests with free eye examinations and glasses, if qualified.
If you or someone you know has any low vision aids that could be donated to our resource center please call the Lions Eyeline 360-790-8667 and we will pick up the donations.
The Lions Low Vision Resource Center is dedicated to advancing the independence of all persons experiencing low vision.

The Resource Center is in need of 6 to 8 20 to 30 inch used TVs. If you are replacing an older TV for a new HD TV do not dump the TV please call the Eyeline and arrangements will be made to pick up the equipment. Also the Center needs a used computer for a low vision software program. Any low vision equipment that you would like to donate to the Resource Center would be appreciated.
